The Jewish Studies Program at UIC promotes teaching and research about Jewish culture from Biblical times to the present. We also focus on the experience of the Jewish people across time and place. We offer both introductory and advanced Jewish Studies courses in the humanities and the social sciences.
In addition to our courses, we host lectures, conferences, and other events to bring Jewish Studies to a larger audience.
